You can set up new service from Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) online by using 2TurnItOn or by contacting the Dallas water department at (214) 651-1441. A deposit will be added to your first water bill unless you:

  • Have a satisfactory credit history with DWU,
  • Are at least 65,
  • Own or in the process of buying the home for which you are setting up an account,
  • Have a letter of guarantee from someone with good credit with DWU, OR
  • Your account with another utility company was not delinquent and had 12 consecutive on-time payments

How to Pay Your Dallas Water Bill

Dallas water and sanitation are billed together. You can pay your City of Dallas water bill in several ways:

  • Online at the City of Dallas ePay website with a credit card or bank account
  • Send a check or money order to City of Dallas, PO Box 075277, Dallas, TX 75277-1000
  • Pay by phone by calling (214) 651-1441
  • Pay in person at the City Hall lobby at 1500 Marilla Street, 2 D South
  • Pay in person at authorized paystations
  • Use the payment drop box at City Hall between Akard and Ervay

You can see Dallas city water rates here. Your monthly charge will likely be $10.29 to $62.15 based on meter size plus a volume charge for water and sewer. There is a stormwater drainage management fee ranging from $4.44 to $17.28 based on square footage.

Dallas Gas Company | Atmos Energy

Atmos Energy is the Dallas gas utility. Atmos Energy is the largest natural gas-only distributor in the United States with over 3 million customers in eight states. Atmos Pipeline-Texas is an interstate natural gas pipeline network with 5,700 miles of pipelines in Texas alone. Atmos gas company uses this pipeline network to connect to gas production regions throughout Texas. The Atmos Energy gas company also owns five underground natural gas storage facilities in the state.

Atmos Energy Dallas Bill Pay

You can use your Atmos Energy bill pay login to pay your Dallas gas bill online. If you create an account, you can view past statements and usage, set up payment reminders, and set up Auto Pay. You can make a one-time payment online without logging into your Atmos Energy account. A one-time payment requires your account number and checking account information or a debit or credit card.

Other ways to pay your Dallas gas bill:

Dallas Electricity | Oncor Electric Delivery & Various Electricity Providers

Dallas, Texas has a deregulated energy market. Consumers can choose from many energy companies in Dallas to provide electricity. While you can choose the energy provider, the same Dallas electric utility delivers electricity and maintains the region’s power lines. You cannot choose your utility company and you must pay delivery fees regulated by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), but your choice of Dallas electric company determines your electric rates.
